Construction Cost Adjustment Factor (CCAF) 2011-2012
By the last quarter of each year, our Appraisal management team finalizes its study of construction cost data from across the country and uses this data to establish our Construction Cost Adjustment Factor (CCAF), which is the percentage applied to home values upon renewal.
This data can vary slightly regionally, so the CCAF report states a range that is applicable nationally. Utilizing information from many sources and incorporating other factors impacting insurance to value, the Appraisal team has established a CCAF range of 2-3% for 2011-2012. The current CCAF report is now posted in the “Spotlight” section of @chubb.
